purpose – making ideas possible.
Take, for example, mechanical engineering in which reinforced needle nonwovens are used to transport of all types of products as the carrier material for conveyor belts. They operate much more quietly than other materials, are abrasion and snag resistant and are characterised by low longitudinal expansion and a considerably longer lifespan.
Today, there are thousands of further applications of nonwovens in industry and daily use.
These include packaging for foodstuffs and battery separators, impress material or carrier material for adhesive tape.
They ca be utilized as fillers and reinforcement for inner linings or as sole material in the shoe and leather industry – and wherever you look, new perspectives for innovation can be found.
